OmniSpear is thrilled to welcome Victoria Killebrew as she joins forces with our team for her school internship. Victoria is an up-and-coming design major with experience in web development, and we are eager to get her take on design with the freshest set of eyes we could find. Welcome Victoria!
Our team is getting bigger again! OmniSpear is happy to welcome our newest developer to the team, Cody Justice. With a degree in Computer Engineering, Cody is already on the ball with all things tech-related. So basically, he fits in perfectly.
Our company takes every excuse we can to grill meats and bring in barges of foods. Grilling season is a real thing for OmniSpear and our team recently celebrated the beginning of spring with our first cookout of 2017! While the gourmet menu changes, we are sure to include hot dogs, burgers, an assortment of side items and beverages as staple features. Most importantly, it was a great afternoon to enjoy the company of colleagues, say goodbye to the cold, winter months, and hello to the gorgeous days ahead this spring season.
OmniSpear teammates take a break from the tech world every now and then, but goals do include the automation of our grill and heat temperature alerts sent directly to our phone.
We love receiving amazing notes about our fellow teammates. This latest review on James Porcha from our IT department makes us so happy!
“Every team has that “go-to-guy” that it counts on when the game is on the line. The legendary Michael Jordan was that “guy” for the Chicago Bulls Dynasty in the 1990s. Fast forward to 2016, LeBron James assumes “go-to-guy” status for the defending World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
OmniSpear, Inc. has its own version of “go-to-guy.” Most of us depend on computers daily. So when something goes wrong, we need that “guy” to turn to. OmniSpear’s version of MJ or King James is James Porcha, a help-desk technician at OmniSpear. With over 10 years in the IT field, I know James has the experience to help whatever issues arise.
It is interesting to note that this all started out as a hobby for James. His passion for technology was truly helpful to family and friends who encountered computer issues. It has now transitioned into a successful career. And you can count on James during times of need.
As stated on OmniSpear’s website, when it comes to buying or repairing computers and other technology, James has clearly established a reputation for himself as everyone’s – wait for it – “Go-To-Guy!”
Memorial Hall wouldn’t figure to be a setting for IT associates and staff, but that’s exactly where our team could be found for Fight Night.
Our crew witnessed some of Dayton’s fiercest men and women battle it out on Dayton Fight Night last month. These Daytonians were featured on boxing’s center stage for the right to claim the title of “Miami Valley’s Toughest.”
Thankfully, our team has earned a good name for tech support. No word yet on whether or not any of the rugged IT experts pictured will take their talents to the boxing ring. In any event, a good time was by our OmniSpear attendees.
We are happy to announce Zachary Sluder as the latest addition to our team! Zach will be focused on back-end programming for our variety of projects and is already eager to dive in and learn the ropes. We are proud to welcome Zachary to OmniSpear, Inc.!
We are happy to announce our newest team member at OmniSpear, Jordan Ellis. With Jordan’s experience and desire for all things web and tech, we know he will make the perfect addition to our group. We are eager to welcome him as we continue to grow.

OmniSpear has teamed up with the Ohio Cobra Club for a technical and visual makeover! As the largest Cobra group in the area, the club hosts their annual London Cobra Show each June with participants from around the country. This show helps provide fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis via raffle sales each year, so our team all pitched in to make the release a success. In order to prepare for the next show, the club came to us for a total revamp and enhanced functionality for raffle sale capabilities. We were able to provide Ohio Cobra Club with cohesive sites to tie the club and show together, an easy and effective eCommerce solution and a brand new look! Best of luck to the Ohio Cobra Club as they continue to help those in need.
We are excited to welcome Chase Spencer as the latest web developer at OmniSpear! Chase is already learning the ropes of the office and steadily working his way into our projects.
