Melink is an energy solutions company that strives to make building construction greener with a focus on integrity and innovation. For this project, our team was tasked with providing an overhaul to the main company pages, as well as microsite for their product, Intelli-hood. These sites represent two separate domains (www.melinkcorp.com & www.intellihood.com) but are seamlessly combined into a single overall theme. The sleeker design makes it simple to jump from site to site, while remaining in the company’s overall vision and branding. Each webpage is also responsive with clean layouts for easy navigation. We are proud of the redesign and think Melink has a fresh face forward as they continue to expand.
OmniSpear was thrilled to attend the 2016 Laracon event in Louisville, KY last week! There were a number of great speakers and a packed house of eager web developers and business owners absorbing the latest information on Laravel and connecting PHP to business practices. From the web application demonstration by Adam Wathan (an area we particularly enjoy building for our clients) to unique history of the framework by Zeev Suraski (pictured here), we had a wonderful time collaborating with fellow IT and web businesses from across the states. We are looking forward to next year’s event!

Laravel is quickly becoming an effective tool for developing PHP applications. As a framework that embraces best-practices and modern development workflows, our team has utilized Laravel in a variety of projects.
Dr. Randal Haworth of Beverly Hills is one of the world’s most experienced plastic surgeons. We have been working with Dr. Haworth on a number of website makeovers and various sites for his products, including NightLift sleep lingerie. For his main site’s latest revision, Dr. Haworth wanted us to utilize a sleek and modern layout, with seamless transitions between surgical procedures. The result is a responsive site using a minimalist design. Customers can easily navigate beyond surgical procedure overviews, down to patient testimonials, examples of work and details for each procedure.

We’ve recently put in place two brand new ads on the digital billboard located on I-75 N just before Downtown near the Dryden exit. The latest Dayton PHP meetup on Git and Gitflow was a success. The developers and professionals in attendance were able to get a great intro to maximizing Git for business flow efficiency by guest speaker, Nate Denlinger. We host Dayton PHP meetups monthly, covering a variety of topics and guest speakers, so please stop by for some great learning opportunities! OmniSpear is excited to host Dayton PHP and their upcoming meeting on Git and Gitflow. The presentation will take place tomorrow at our conference room from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with special guest speaker, Nate Denlinger. Nate has been a developer for over 9 years and will be giving us an overview of the ins and outs of Git and workflow processes. We are excited to learn the basics of streamlining with GIT as well as learning about real life experiences during the round-table. There are few better ways to celebrate the summer than putting on a great cookout. We’ve seen the talent our team has on the computer, and now we’ve tested their skill on the grill! We’re proud to say it was a massive success, resulting in some killer burgers and delicious desserts. We hope everyone is getting out and enjoying the summer weather!
