We are growing yet again and happy to expand the OmniSpear team! We would like to welcome our newest developer, Justin Weyant, who has just started with us today. Justin has years of experience and will make a wonderful addition to the skill set here at OmniSpear.
OmniSpear just rolled out a fresh new look for Hot Head Burritos and we are excited to announce its official release today! We enjoyed working with the Hot Head team to make their vision come to life online. As true burrito connoisseurs, we can definitely say we were passionate about this project.
OmniSpear proudly welcomes James Allen to the team! James is the latest of developers to join the OmniSpear crew and we are eager for him to start drilling into projects. We currently stand with 2 James at the company, so expect nicknames to come!
We have a common saying for many here at OmniSpear and it’s “Happy Birthday Porcha.” Well, today is actually the true birthday of Mr. James Porcha, so we had to make sure and legitimately wish him a wonderful day. Our lunch celebration consisted of pizza, sweets, games, and extreme competition (our classic combo). So for our team, it was a success. We can’t wait to wish James many more Happy Birthdays in the future.
OmniSpear is thrilled to welcome Victoria Killebrew as she joins forces with our team for her school internship. Victoria is an up-and-coming design major with experience in web development, and we are eager to get her take on design with the freshest set of eyes we could find. Welcome Victoria!
We love receiving amazing notes about our fellow teammates. This latest review on James Porcha from our IT department makes us so happy!
“Every team has that “go-to-guy” that it counts on when the game is on the line. The legendary Michael Jordan was that “guy” for the Chicago Bulls Dynasty in the 1990s. Fast forward to 2016, LeBron James assumes “go-to-guy” status for the defending World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
OmniSpear, Inc. has its own version of “go-to-guy.” Most of us depend on computers daily. So when something goes wrong, we need that “guy” to turn to. OmniSpear’s version of MJ or King James is James Porcha, a help-desk technician at OmniSpear. With over 10 years in the IT field, I know James has the experience to help whatever issues arise.
It is interesting to note that this all started out as a hobby for James. His passion for technology was truly helpful to family and friends who encountered computer issues. It has now transitioned into a successful career. And you can count on James during times of need.
As stated on OmniSpear’s website, when it comes to buying or repairing computers and other technology, James has clearly established a reputation for himself as everyone’s – wait for it – “Go-To-Guy!”
OmniSpear has teamed up with the Ohio Cobra Club for a technical and visual makeover! As the largest Cobra group in the area, the club hosts their annual London Cobra Show each June with participants from around the country. This show helps provide fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis via raffle sales each year, so our team all pitched in to make the release a success. In order to prepare for the next show, the club came to us for a total revamp and enhanced functionality for raffle sale capabilities. We were able to provide Ohio Cobra Club with cohesive sites to tie the club and show together, an easy and effective eCommerce solution and a brand new look! Best of luck to the Ohio Cobra Club as they continue to help those in need.
We are looking forward to tonight’s Dayton PHP meetup hosted by OmniSpear. The topic will cover many of the latest website security breaches and how they were successfully achieved. There is still time to RSVP: Dayton PHP Meetup.

OmniSpear was thrilled to attend the 2016 Laracon event in Louisville, KY last week! There were a number of great speakers and a packed house of eager web developers and business owners absorbing the latest information on Laravel and connecting PHP to business practices. From the web application demonstration by Adam Wathan (an area we particularly enjoy building for our clients) to unique history of the framework by Zeev Suraski (pictured here), we had a wonderful time collaborating with fellow IT and web businesses from across the states. We are looking forward to next year’s event!
We are happily expanding the team here at OmniSpear and proudly welcome our newest member, Ryan Harris. Ryan is a recent graduate from the School of Advertising Art and has been interning with us over the Spring. He will soon be joining the company as our official employee this summer, and we are eager for him to get started. Ryan will come as an addition to our art-minded (and techie) crew at the office, specializing on the front-end of web presence. Our team had a chance to attend the SAA Portfolio show this past Friday to cheer on Ryan as he debuted his portfolio and final projects for graduation. We are so proud of the work he created and know he will bring that same creativity to our clients. Welcome Ryan!
