The Ohio Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) came to OmniSpear with the need for a web application to set budgetary controls and generate invoices for multiple locations scattered throughout the state. The system needed to be flexible as policies and procedures are modified or added. The business rules behind the rules on spending were complex. OmniSpear developed a solution that allowed budgets to be entered for various fiscal years and allow expenses to be posted against those budgets. In addition, we developed real-time reporting and alerts highlighting budget utilization.
