Happy Birthday Porcha!

jamesWe have a common saying for many here at OmniSpear and it’s “Happy Birthday Porcha.” Well, today is actually the true birthday of Mr. James Porcha, so we had to make sure and legitimately wish him a wonderful day.  Our lunch celebration consisted of pizza, sweets, games, and extreme competition (our classic combo).  So for our team, it was a success.  We can’t wait to wish James many more Happy Birthdays in the future.

 

 

 

 

 

Ohio Cobra Club Project Release

cobra-club-logoOmniSpear has teamed up with the Ohio Cobra Club for a technical and visual makeover!  As the largest Cobra group in the area, the club hosts their annual London Cobra Show each June with participants from around the country.   This show helps provide fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis via raffle sales each year, so our team all pitched in to make the release a success.   In order to prepare for the next show, the club came to us for a total revamp and enhanced functionality for raffle sale capabilities.  We were able to provide Ohio Cobra Club with cohesive sites to tie the club and show together, an easy and effective eCommerce solution and a brand new look!   Best of luck to the Ohio Cobra Club as they continue to help those in need.

 

OmniSpear Scene75 Office Party

LAN PartyWhat better way to celebrate successful project launches than to head out to Scene75 for a day of games, Go-Karts, bowling and bumper cars?  Our group had a great time enjoying some team building this past Friday.  A few competitive rounds of Go-Karts, game racing and mini-golf challenges really helped pump us up for upcoming projects!

Fresh New Look for Melink

Melink is an energy solutions company that strives to make building construction greener with a focus on integrity and innovation.  For this project, our team was tasked with providing an overhaul to the main company pages, as well as microsite for their product, Intelli-hood.  These sites represent two separate domains (www.melinkcorp.com & www.intellihood.com) but are seamlessly combined into a single overall theme.  The sleeker design makes it simple to jump from site to site, while remaining in the company’s overall vision and branding.  Each webpage is also responsive with clean layouts for easy navigation.  We are proud of the redesign and think Melink has a fresh face forward as they continue to expand.

A Recap of Laracon 2016

ZeevOmniSpear was thrilled to attend the 2016 Laracon event in Louisville, KY last week!  There were a number of great speakers and a packed house of eager web developers and business owners absorbing the latest information on Laravel and connecting PHP to business practices.  From the  web application demonstration by Adam Wathan (an area we particularly enjoy building for our clients) to unique history of the framework by Zeev Suraski (pictured here), we had a wonderful time collaborating with fellow IT and web businesses from across the states.  We are looking forward to next year’s event!
