.NET Web Application Developer

We have an immediate need for a .NET Developer to build and maintain custom business solutions. This is a full-time position in the Miamisburg/Springboro area of Dayton, Ohio. Activities will involve a variety of tasks, including new development and maintenance of existing applications.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and forward-thinking developer with 4+ years’ experience using Microsoft Technologies. We seek a team player with good communication skills and an excellent grasp of.NET (ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET) and MS SQL Server. The developer will consult with users to identify current operating procedures, support internal business requirements and clarify program objectives. He or she will have knowledge of standard development concepts and best practices, and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop .NET apps/services, products and integrations with external APIs
Ensure business solutions do not have negative impact on interdependent systems
Work with customers and internal staff in analyzing how business needs can be enhanced by application technologies
Make recommendations regarding continuous improvement of internal and external processes/procedures
Stay abreast of changing technologies to ensure leading-edge development of applications

Desired Skills/Experience:

4+ year’s professional software development experience.
4+ years’ experience with .NET framework, ASP.NET / C# / MVC
4+ years with relational databases, mainly SQL Server
4+ years with web services/SOAP/XML/ XSLT
4+ years integrating APIs
2+ years with ORM framework (Entity Framework preferred).
Experience with HTML, CSS, Java Script or other web technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desire to expand knowledge and experience and commitment to continuous learning.

Independent Sales Representative Position

OmniSpear, Inc. is looking for a seasoned and motivated sales representative who wants to be part of our fast-paced and innovative web and IT solutions team. This candidate should be someone who excels working both independently and as part of a close-knit collaboration. Since 2001, OmniSpear Inc. has been providing web and IT services to businesses in Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus and beyond.

From IT Support to complex web application development, OmniSpear has the in-house staff to handle the design, development and implementation of both web and IT solutions. As our Sales Representative, you will help us bring new companies in need of one or more of our many customer models. The position offers both a commission on sales generated, as well as base salary – so growing our sales means you grow with us along the way.

The position requires a person who can take the sales function and utilize an entire process from start to finish. This includes devising a sales process, identifying target clients, research of prospective clients’ needs, arranging meetings and presentations, strong follow up and drip campaigns and closing sales.

Responsibilities Include:

– Prospective client contact, including cold calling, networking, and referrals

Description:
OmniSpear, Inc. located between Dayton and Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Network Administrator to provide client support. Duties will include workstation and network troubleshooting and server administration. Position requires both inter-office technical support as well as client on-site services.
Candidates must meet or exceed our listed requirements to be considered for this position.

Technical Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and Linux (or OS X).
Working knowledge of networking technologies such as ethernet, switches, computer hardware, and software.
Knowledge of Active Directory.
Provide computer and network support to end-users, both local and remote.
Perform support and maintenance, both local and remote, of server and network hardware.
Provide resolution to help desk tickets, covering all IT technology issues and accurately document the nature of the problem with supporting details.
Diagnose reported PC/peripheral/client software problems and enact appropriate solutions with a high level of user satisfaction.
Configure, install and deploy user-issued hardware and software, ensuring reliability and a high level of performance.
Maintain inventory of both client and network assets (make, model, serial number, location, assigned user).
Ensure compliance to hardware and software standards and licensing.
Manage ticket queue and escalate tickets to upper tier network team, as needed.
Work with third party vendors to resolve hardware issues that are covered under manufacturer and extended warranties.
Maintain system image configurations and continue to improve software standardization.
Strong customer service through communications and follow-up.
Additional related duties as assigned by management.
